LONDON TOWN

LONDON FOR THE DAY

I was surprised by how much I loved London.
I was in Paris and got the Euro Star to London for the day to visit a cousin.
I got everything done on my list in the one day! Brilliant!
I would highly recommend booking a ticket to London if you are in Paris.

TIPS

Don't fly in... it will waste half your day.
The train leaves from Guard De Nord and arrives at St Pancras Station.
Locations that are in the heart of both cities.

The tube is fun, easy and not scary - its the fastest way to get around!
Buy an all day pass.

ITINERARY

Note - There is a tube station close to every tourist hot spot.

When you arrive at St Pancras Station stop for tea & scones at Peyton & Byrne.

Walk over to Kings Cross Station and visit Platform 9&3/4 and take a photo with the prop!!!!!!!

Get the tube to Piccadilly Circus and start your scenic tour!
Walk from Times Square to Trafalgar Square then head down to the Big Ben.
Note - its easy to navigate your way around. From memory it was just two streets.
Note - stop along the way for lunch and grab some awesome souvenirs.

Once you reach Big Ben turn left and walk along the river and you will see the London Eye.

At this point you can grab some ice-cream and continue walking (which i did) or you can grab the tube to the Underground.
Note - I would suggest continue walking and stop at the Millennium Bridge if you are a Harry Potter fan.

From the Underground walk to the Tower Bridge.
Note - I walked over the bridge ... but that's up to you.
Note - St Paul's Cathedral is close by if you would like to visit

Hop onto the tube and head to St James Park.

Visit Buckingham Palace and walk along Hyde Park while heading to Harrods!
Note - Harrods has so much to offer. Visit every floor and dont forget to stop at the Ice-Cream Parlour!!

After Harrods jump on the tube and head to Oxford Circus.

Enjoy some shopping on Oxford Street and definitely check out Selfridges!

Pick a fancy place for a lovely dinner and you will even have time to visit the London Eye again and see the night views of London if you use the tube.

Head back to St Pancras station.

Note - goop.com has an amazing list of places to eat & drink.
Note - if you stay overnight i would recommend spending the next day in Notting Hill
