If you have a balcony - chose small plants and stick to one or two that don't need hours of sunlight!
If you just have your bedroom - find plants that suit indoors
All plants need sunlight, water & warmth.
A few simple tips:
Fertilize regularly in small doses
Re-pot your plants every couple of years
Plant in the correct size for the plant
Check leaves for insect pests regularly
Wash plants gently with warm water once in a while
Groom them - cut off any damaged parts
Keep animals away
If you have a cactus protect it from heavy rain - they only need a small amount of water several times a year!
Research all the information you can on your plant and pay attention to it, they need love :-)
