NEW YORK CITY GUIDE PART 5

Down Town New York

TIP - Travel to NYC in winter! I had an intense love for New York City that I almost left my family and moved there with my my husband! But first I wanted to see what the summer in NYC was like, so we vacationed in summer and it was the best thing I ever did because WOW did my opinion change! It's so so so hot so hot that you don't want to do anything because your all sticky and sweaty and there is no where to go to cool off! It just didn't have that magical feeling at all and Manhattan is fine but head to Brooklyn or Queens and you feel like your life will end although some parts in Brooklyn are amazing (we stayed in Williamsburg, Brooklyn) but your always on alert and I think that's why no one leaves Manhattan (and staying on that island 24/7 would make me feel claustrophobic!). I hate summer but I know it wasn't that because I would go to LA over and over again in summer but NYC... I'm in no rush what so over to go back! That's HUGE for me to say as I was literally obsessed and I guess visiting Europe after didn't help either.
But the memories of the holidays we spent in winter in NYC will always be some of the best cherished memories! NYC at Christmas time is something everyone should experience!

On the bright side I found that eating healthy, organic and vegetarian was super easy in NYC, easier than eating fast food!
